Phillip Sparks spring 2009
A refreshing collection for this season signed by Philip Sparks takes its design inspiration from the American youth subcultures of 1950s: preppies, jocks, slackers and greasers. A nostalgic yet modern look is ensured by heirloom tailoring techniques, streamline silhouettes and sportswear detailing.

Retro touches such as blazers with double pockets and covered buttons, shawl-collar knits are thrown in the mix with cargo pocket shorts and trousers, trench jackets in light cotton and linen fabrics along with a small range of hip, stylish footwear. Yellow ramie knits add the needed splash of colour to a stark clear white-grey-black palette.
