New Dandyism's tribute to fashionable men
The term "dandy" has finally gained its initial sense and significance, thanks to lifestyle brand 'New Dandyism'. 10 designers, carefully selected by Chris Torres, display their clothing/accessories line for the men who appreciate fashion and design. NewDandyism.com, an online menswear shop, aims at defining the "new dandy". The revival of the term "dandy" goes beyond the over used "metro sexual". The modern dandy is, like his 18th century predecessor, a revolutionary gentleman. Daring, respectable, he doesn't follow trends he creates new ones, and first of all, he designs his own way of life. Chris Torres, the man behind New Dandyism, carefully selects, each season, a limited number of brands that embodies the qualities of a new dandy.
New Dandyism style is a mix between street wear and classic, a modern approach to classic pieces by using modern materials, colors, patterns and additional comfort/utility increasing details.
