JOOP! fall/winter 2010 menswear lookbook featuring canadian top-model Mat Gordon shows formal, casual and outerwear pieces of this top international label. JOOP!, a leading designer brand in the premium segment with roots in Germany (founded in 1978) is a lifestyle label, creating fashion, accessories, fragrances and interior collections.
"Sophisticated design, uncompromising quality and the mix of style, modernity, extravagance and a touch of sex appeal makes each piece unique." JOOP menswear addresses the confident man with a strong sense of style and personality. The collection brings together classical style, urban innovation and subtle elegance.
JOOP fall/winter 2010/2011 collection is a reinterpretation of classic pieces in menswear such as the pea coat, duffle jacket, down jacket or the leather bomber jacket redesigned with a streamlined silhouette and refined, modern details. I particularly like the narrow lapels on blazers and overcoats which are teamed with wool chinos - a slim, flat-front, tapered-leg trouser made of fine wool blend or gabardine.
The color palette includes navy, burgundy, red and forest green and cheerful (Norwegian) patterns on sweaters along with classic grey and brown. This is a smart casual look meant for the urban gentleman, a style completed by slick accessories and footwear.
